How Fast We Forget And Revert

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. "
Martin Luther King, Jr.

In majority, much of the oppression and prejudices in America have been quelled or lessened from their gruesome states. MLK Jr.'s quote above became true. From the latter 1970's and early 1980's, character was an honoured concern.   Then a degregation occured.

The Arizona shooter in 2011, for example. The media jumped on the school for not noticing tendencies earlier. Shows brought in experts to classify the psychology of the individual. But who is really to blame? It must have been the parents fault, right? Or maybe, the actual shooter. Hmm...

Why cannot we be responsible for our own faults and responsibilities? Why is mental illness the first assumption of murder motivation? Why is tax evasion somethings that was "overlooked"? Why is addiction usually an excuse? Stand up, you weak of character! You unravel the iron framework of our forefathers!
