East and West
The sun begins in one; it sets in the other. Animals have a natural tendency to face east before they die. A beginning and an end. Man wakes to the sunrise in its glory, thinking to the beginning, and a hope. Man concludes his day by the sunset, feeling accomplished, satisfied, and reflects on what he has or has not done. Providence is our beginning, as we can always go back to the beginning. But the end or outcome is our decision. Where do we go, how do we do it, when shall it be done, by whom shall it be done? One must answer these questions for himself. Sometimes sunsets and sunrises aren’t visible to the eye, but they always take place.
